Down to business...

There is no one like our God! Every day I find something new about Him and why He has me where I am. My classes are awesome; it's completely different from Clemson, but that's not a good or bad thing. It's more of a new and different experience. In fact, my non-class life has picked up a lot since I got home. Chris, Lauren, Josh, Bradyn, K. Bowers, Jamie, Aaron, V. Snodgrass, Angela, Donny and me have been hangin' a lot lately. As in almost every night; well not everyone every night, but a lot of us.

Down to business. God has moved in my heart in several ways lately. He's convicted me of certain things and challenged me in certain areas.
1. He's telling me to step out and lead in the venue of witnessing verbally: one of my major faults.
2. To dive into His word a lot more that I am, because how can I expect to stay close when I stay in bed in the morning and stay out so late.
3. To commit to fighting the habitual sins that ravage my spiritual life.
These are not easy challenges, but God has called me to meet a standard and my passion for His purpose for my life should drive this to completetion. Not that I will ever take hold of it, but I should strive. Passion and Strive are 2 of my favorite words, and ironically they are so intertwined. A person's passion should make them strive for their goal. That's in general, not just in the Christian sense of things. However, a major difference in the secular view of this and the Christian view is that the Christian doesn't (or shouldn't) determine their own passion. Instead, God gives us a passion. He has given me passion that I am still deciphering. Sometimes its so hard though, because I can't see past 5 feet in front of me. I have to trust God and take the next step in complete faith.

Ok. I'm done. MARKER WARS!

Jeremiah's Prayer = I know, O LORD , that a man's life is not his own; it is not for man to direct his steps. Correct me, LORD...
