Suppressing the Truth

So I just finished reading Romans 1. Awesome chapter.
I got to the section about suppressing the truth. It hit me hard.
How often do we push down what we're supposed to do?
Its inconvenient. Its "no fun". It takes to much out of me.

Well... I feel that, yet God calls us to live the truth before others
NOT JUST SPEAK IT. We must speak it and live it or others won't see it.

"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." (Matt. 5:14-16)

People don't want to be a part of something that is contradictory to itself.
We can't preach hatred, neither can we approve of it.
We can preach love. We must live the truth and fight the darkness,
even if it seems that we stand alone.

We should bleed truth from our pores.
Not shove it down people's throats or be disgusted when they don't get it!
Sinners will act like sinners, and we'll all slip up.
But be humble and live a life of love.
That's what its about.
Speak Life into dark places. Teach of Jesus True Love and Live it out!
