...so the potter formed it into another pot...

mood? not too shabby
music? Chevelle - To Return
Lenny Kravitz - Where Are We Runnin'?
muse? Jeremiah 25

So... I've had yet another relatively uneventful week. However, I came to a conclusion: I don't need to worry so much about everything that goes on! It's amazing how much more relaxed I've been since I've accepted that. God will do as He sees fit and I've gotta deal. Whether I agree or not. It's so hard not seeing the forest for the trees. I end up examining the ants crawling up the trees and not the beauty of the forest! So, I guess my spill for the day is to relax, and take some time for yourself.

On another note. I ran across another passage that I read not to long ago in Jeremiah. It's Jeremiah 18. This is how it reads:

"This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD : "Go down to the potter's house, and there I will give you my message." So I went down to the potter's house, and I saw him working at the wheel. But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.
"Then the word of the LORD came to me: "O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter does?" declares the LORD . "Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel. If at any time I announce that a nation or
kingdom is to be uprooted, torn down and destroyed, and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on it the disaster I had planned. And if at another time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be built up and planted, and if it does evil in my sight and does not obey me, then I will reconsider the good I had intended to do for it

This made me really think about how God is working for our good. He may break
us and rebuild us from the ground up over and over and over again, but it's
for
our good in His kingdom. We must accept that God is bigger than we can
comprehend and that we cannot put him in a box. He cannot be confined.
Therefore, when God says go: GO! When God says wait: BE PATIENT! I know from experience it's a lot
easier to say than do these things, but it is something to strive for!
